The Git2 has the typical dashcam features such as auto start up/shut down, seemless-loop cycle recording, motion detection, G-sensor, screen saver, and more – no GPS, however. It looks like the GitUp designers had more in mind than just an action cam. The Git2 features the Novatek 96660 chip with a 16MP Sony Exmor IMX206 CMOS (same as that found in the Xiaomi Yi). It has the familiar GoPro style body enclosed in a removable waterproof case (rated for 30m), and is compatible with all GoPro mounts. Today, I’m taking a look at the oddly named GitUp Git2 (Pro Packing) action cam. Thanks to GitUp and Pier28 for supplying these units. An optional A/V output cable is also available, which is useful for outputting a live analog video feed to a wireless transmitter for remote monitor when the camera is mounted on a quadcopter or other RC aircraft.GitUp Git2 (Pro) action cam (1080p/2K 60fps, Novatek 96660, Sony Exmor IMX206, WiFi) review For viewing your videos on your HDTV, the camera features a micro HDMI port.
